No, I do not agree that technology is more of a boon than a bane to society. Nowadays, people make use of technology to do many different things. With the advances in technology, many people would rather stay at home and communicate behind the computer screeen or a phone. This minimizes interaction time with your peers. The advances in technology destroys relationships indirectly.

With the advances in technology, there will be more cases of cyberbullying. People will make use of social media and do things behind the computer screen. Whats worst is that nobody knows the real identity of the person and this would make the culprit do more bad.

Hence, technology is more of a bane to society.
