I disagree with you . Nuclear power is any nuclear technology designed to extract usable energy from atomic nuclei via controlled nuclear reactions. The most common method today is through nuclear fission, though other methods include nuclear fusion and radioactive decay.Nuclear technology is beneficial to us as fuel is inexpensive ,energy generation is the most concentrated source ,waste is more compact than any source ,extensive scientific basis for the cycle ,easy to transport as new fuel and no greenhouse or acid rain effects. Also , nuclear power plants are designed to prevent abnormal incidents from occurring. Even if abnormal incidents do occur, nuclear plants are also designed to prevent the potential spreading of abnormal incidents and leakage of radioactive materials around plants, which may cause adverse impacts on the surrounding environment. Thus , nuclear technology may not be such a bad thing after all as there are preventions taken still .

You mention that the internet makes the user prone to many other dangers such as cyber-bullying and scams when buying online goods and thus , technology is more of a bane than a boon. However , cyber-bullying occurs because of the way of thinking of some people . Cyber-bullying starts because they are often motivated by anger, revenge or frustration. Sometimes they do it for entertainment or because they are bored and have too much time on their hands. Thus , technology is not necessary be more of a boon than bane to society as this can be prevented if people know how to be responsible of their own actions and understand why is it wrong to cyber-bully .

I agree that technology is more of a boon than a bane to society . Technology is the making, modification, usage, and knowledge of tools, machines, techniques, crafts, systems, methods of organization, in order to solve a problem, improve a pre-existing solution to a problem, achieve a goal or perform a specific function. It can also refer to the collection of such tools, machinery, modifications, arrangements and procedures. Technologies significantly affect human as well as other animal species' ability to control and adapt to their natural environments.Technology has both negative and positive effects to the society. However , I believe that there are more positive effects than negative effects to the society.

Technology has made our life more convenient and medical technology have helped to save our lives . Medical Technology includes a wide range of healthcare products and is used to diagnose, monitor or treat diseases or medical conditions affecting humans. Medical technology may broadly include medical devices, information technology, biotech, and healthcare services.Have you ever think back and ask yourself how medical technology had saved you so far ? Medical Technology is really important as physicians rely on laboratory data to diagnose and treat many conditions.

One of the example is that Nancy Olson, a 63-year-old artist visiting Bellingham from Priest Lake, Idaho owes her life to new medical technology and the collaboration of the local medical community.Efforts to revive her included defibrillation and administration of cardiac medications, but despite these measures her heart would not restart. During the resuscitation effort, a new mechanical CPR device being evaluated by Whatcom Medic One was attached to Olson. This piece of equipment, called the LUCAS Chest Compression System, is designed to precisely and effectively compress and expand the chest in an attempt to circulate blood when the heart is unable to do so.In Olson's case, the device was so effective she began to regain consciousness when the device was operating, a very rare occurrence in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest situations.

This shows that technology had played a big role in the society and thus it has more boon than bane to the society .

Medical Technology is really important as physicians rely on laboratory data to diagnose and treat many conditions. Without the information supplied by laboratorians, doctors have only signs and symptoms to determine the causative factor of the patient complaints. When a person goes to their provider complaining of fever and weakness, the physician needs to determine the reason why these symptoms are occurring, and this is where the laboratory, and the medical technologist comes in.

Medical Technology has helped us very much .
