Yes. I agree that technology is more of a boon than a bane to society as helps us to communicate with people from afar such as "skype", that is used to communicate with relatives and friends, through the webcam and the chatbox. It has made our life more simple and luxurious than it used to be. Technology is supporting human so much that now a person can work with his/her computer from his home. Therefore technology is more of a boon than a bane as it has actually started to move our life more smoothly.
But also if the technology is misused, it could be a weapon of destruction that could kill people or maybe even destroy the whole world. Taking those terrorist as an example, they have misused technology and now killing hundreds and thousands of innocent people. So it is all depending on the peple who are using it and how they use it.
