I disagree. Technology might be useful as it improves our lives, but life might actually be better without it. Some of the problems technology causes are dependence, isolation, cyber bulling and job loss. People nowadays are too dependent on technology to do the job. For example, people need machines to do the work, need computers for work or need cars for travel. When it one day breaks, we will be in a state of confusion and frustration because we have become too attached to it. technology will also cause isolation because people connect through chat rooms, texts, forums and websites, but less so face to face. They spend more time sitting alone in front of a computer than out in the community. This will make them lose confidence when speaking to other. Cyber bullying is a serious case which many victims are affected by. There were cases where victims commit suicide because of the things that cyber bullies said. Job loss are also due to technology. Companies use technology to help do work as technology advancements lessen the human workforce. All these of the above are caused by technology, however, technology is made to make life more convient. Technology has advantages to mankind but also disadvantages.As it creates problems for us. Thus technology is more of a bane than a boon to technology to the society.

Yes, i agree. Technology has helped improve lives and made it more convient. All the latest technology has been been improved and made into better uses. For example, before phones were invented, people could only 'talk' to others through pigeons and they could only get their reply after a long wait. However, ever since telephones were invented, people could communicate with each other more easily. It was all thanks to Alexander Graham Bell, who invented the first telephone that changed the world's mode of communication. The other inventers took his idea and started to improve on it. From home telephones to hand-held portable mobile phones, calling functions to messaging, picture-taking and other functions. It had changed the lives of people. However, people tend to misuse these inventions, like blackmailing, typing rude comments and even cyber bulling. In the past, bulling cases happens, but now since there is technology the bulling cases worsen. Many reports such as the megan meier sucide cases are results of cyber bullying. Cyber bullies can easily take on a fake profiles and 'harm' the victims. They might also threaten them even when not face-to-face through technologies such as phones or internets. I feel that it is not the invention of internet that causes all that, but the misusing of the users. If not for technology, we would not have computers, phones, cars and many more to help us in our daily lives. If there is no technology, we would still ve like the cavemens, living in caves, burning fires, not being able to communicate with each other. Technology has help make lives simpler and easier for people. For example, the invention of a computer had help improve in the sending of mails. In the olden days, people need pigeons or mailman to helpsend mails. However, now all we need to do is to type our messages in the computer and can receive a reply almost immeadiately
