i agree. technology has enabled us to communicate through internet. we can communicate via email or msn. we can now see each other through webcam without having to personally fly overseas to visit our relatives and friends. it has made our lives easier. now we can also contact and interact with one another. hence, it has made our lives simpler. technology is made by applying science into action in order to ease our life. so the purpose is good.

with the advances in technology, we are able to build more high tech machineries and weapons to protect our country in times of war.

also, with advance in technology, we are able to save more people suffering from diseases. with more advanced technology, we are equiped with better tools and equipment to save people. an example would be operation. with advances in technology, we are able to enjoy our lives. therefore, i strongly believe that technology is more of a boon than bane to society.

i disagree with you. even though nuclear energy is clean without emission of harmful gases, they are still harmful. when pregnant women gets exposed to these harmful radiations, they get affected. when they give birth, their children are often deformed. thus technology is more of a bane than boon. even though technology in terms of social networking is a very useful tool for us to communicate when we are in different places, they caused a lot of teenagers to get addicted. they start to get more hooked on to the social networking sites like facebook and twitter and they start neglecting their studies. hence their results will suffer. thus technology is more of a bane than boon.
