although technology has its cons, it definitely is more boon than bane! the fact that you can sdubmit this essay through the computer is already one of the many advantages that technology carries. the debate motion is technology is MORE of a boon than a bane. by just stating that technology led to nuclear tehnology is a bane to the society does not make technology entirely a bane as technology has many benfits such as it has aidedn medical science which saves millions of people.

Technology is most definitely more of a boon than a bane! The definition of bane in this case is something to be thankful for; blessing; benefit and the definition of bane is a person or thing that ruins or spoils. Technology has become a staple of everyday human life. Humans have started resorting to computers and cell phones for basic communication, birthday reminders and even spell-check. Technology has many benefits. It plays a major role in various aspects of our busy lives such as education, our society, communication and the medical field. Technological advancements in the field of education are fast evolving. Today, e-learning is a familiar and popular term to many of the students in Singapore. In epidemics such as H1N1 and SARS when its too dangerous for students to report to school for lessons, technology is needed to keep lessons on-going through e-learning. This is only one of the benefits of technology! From the lights that brighten our life to the television that entertains are all made possible because of technology. Thus, in my opinion, technology is more of a boon than a bane.
